What we store, and what we never store
You can complete every assessment on QiLife without giving us a name, an email address or an account. That is not a marketing line — it is the architecture.
Stored in your own browser
- Your answers while a quiz is in progress, so you can leave and resume.
- Your finished results (scores, pattern, confidence), so you can see a trend over time.
- 7-day reset checkboxes and daily check-in streaks.
- Badges and play-mode choices.
- A random device identifier used only to tie together your own anonymous records.
Clearing your browser's site data for QiLife deletes all of it. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had it.
Optional anonymous server storage
If the server is available, QiLife may send two things: an anonymous record of your scores and conclusion, and a shareable result snapshot if you press the share button.

Individual answers are used in your browser to build the "why this result" explanation, and are then discarded. They are never transmitted. You can switch anonymous storage off entirely — the switch is on the result page, and turning it off does not degrade anything.
Shareable results
A share link contains your pattern, dimension scores, confidence and mode. It does not contain your answers. Share snapshots expire automatically; the share image you download lives only on your device.
AI deep reports
If you explicitly request an AI deep report, your scores, dominant pattern and wellness index are sent to the configured language-model provider to generate the report text. Nothing else is sent, and no request is made unless you press the button. If the feature is not configured on this deployment, the button tells you so and everything else on the page still works.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade any data.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiles.
- We do not require an account to use anything.
- We do not use dark patterns to capture an email address mid-assessment.
Children
QiLife is designed for adults. We do not knowingly store data from children under 13.
Your choices
- Complete everything offline in your browser — nothing leaves your device.
- Turn off anonymous storage on any result page.
- Clear site data at any time to erase your local history.
